This is a brief description of some of the services I offer. Many of the services can be combined to create a comprehensive approach to creating inclusive arts experiences. This is not an exhaustive list but rather a starting point for discussion about how I can help you increase access for all people in your arts organization.

Program/Venue Development

  • Partnering with organizations to create inclusive arts opportunities from the bottom up. We begin with your idea and fully develop it from a universal design perspective.

Program/Venue Evaluation

  • Assessing current programs for accessibility and making recommendations to increase inclusion

Program/Venue Support

  • Providing on-site support during arts programs to meet the needs that arise for participants during the program

Rexlaxed/Sensory Sensitive Theater Experiences

There are many different ways to create a sensory friendly theater performance. Here are some of the services I offer:

  • ss=”p1″>Creating an audience guide that highlights moments of sensory intensity for audience members to read prior to attending the performance.

  • Evaluating the show and make recommendations to the artistic team on how to reduce some of the sensory intensity of the show. This may include adjusting house lights, stage lights, sound effect and/or music volume. This is part of an ongoing discussion about maintain the integrity of the show while reducing the sensory intensity. 

  • Creating visual supports for patrons of shows that are designated as Releaxed/Sensory Sensitive

  • Developing a relaxation space to support regulation before, during and after the show

  • Providing day-of support for sensory sensitive performances

Education and Speaking Engagements

    Tailoring the perfect message for your event, delivering Keynote Addresses, Lectures and Continuing Education Oppertunities on Arts Equity and Inclusion.
